In 13 pitstops, M & R were on the 1st place for around 9th times and received prizes such as handycam, $5,000 and South Africa tour package along the race. Just last Feb. 14 the final race was shown, they were included among with the Malaysian girls and the Singapore guys were the top 3 to compete with worth $100,000. Even though I prepared myself that they might be ended up as the 3rd placer in the final pitstop still I can't help to feel a bit frustrated and dishearten about the final outcome. The Phil team were the first to arrived in the beach to do the roadblock. Rovilson took the charge of the task of placing the national flags of the countries they had been visited in proper order, second were the Malaysian girls (Pam & Vanessa) and the last team who arrived in the site were the Singapore guys( Adrian & Collin). Adrian rushes to do the final task and immediately put all the flags correctly, after finishing the task they received the clue wherein they have to procede to Chinese Garden as the final pitstop of the race .Followed by Pam & Vanessa who also finished the task while Rovilson was left behind. I saw how Marc was frustrated seeing his partner puting the wrong flag in the sand as well as Rov who's sweating in the heat of the sun hearing the voice saying "incorrect". After several attempts of changing the flags he finally completed the road bloack and headed to Chinese garden and arrived as the 3rd placer of the Amazing Race-Asia 2. Adrian and Collin declared as the winner of this season and the Malaysian girls placed as second who were so happy beating M & R team.
It was a good race for the 2 Phil Teams and I'm very proud of them because they've gone so far unlike the first season wherein the 2 Phils teams were eliminated early on the race.Good job guys!!
See you on the next race...
